Bushrangers Lookout;

A short 20 minute return walk from the Centre.

Suited to all students.

Focus activities covering;

  • The nature and characteristics of Dry Eucalypt forests
  • Land use, agricultural and managed forests
  • Human history within the Dromedary area;
    • Bushrangers
    • Early exploration and settlement

Old Sawmill track

Girls studying tree at DromedaryA 90 minute return circuit walk through a variety of forest communities and age classes including a visit to an early bush sawmill site.

Suited to all students.

Focus activities covering;

  • Dry ,Transitional and Wet Eucalypt forests
  • Forest ecosystems
  • Habitats
  • Managing forest environments for a range of needs
  • Human history within the Dromedary area
  • Aboriginal use of forest environments
  • The early timber getters

Platform Peak

A 120 minute return circuit walk through forest and along the ridge top with superb views.

Suited to upper Primary and Secondary students.
