Tasmanian Science Talent Search
The Forest Education Foundation offers a number of prizes for individuals and class groups in the Tasmanian Science Talent Search.
Individual prizes are offered to students completing research projects on topics that relate to the ecology and / or management of Tasmanian native forest environments, plantations, environmental monitoring or products derived from forests.
One prize is also offered for a class group research project. This class research project should be presented as a written report in an A4 folder or as a PowerPoint presentation. The winning class receives a free full day excursion to a forest environment and/or a forest industry in their area as well as a commemorative plaque. The nature, time and content of this excursion is negotiated with the winning class.
