International Year of Forests initiative from the Forest Education Foundation
The National Forest Learning Centre comes to visit you!
During this International Year of Forests, the FEF is travelling the National Forest Learning Centre (NFLC) around the state. Our Forest Discovery Experience will be based in a school hall for a week, allowing school groups of all ages access to a range of NFLC activities run by the FEF teachers. These are interactive and hands-on, and cover a range of topics on forest ecology, science and management.
From Tusday to Thursday, we run nine sessions (each of 90 minutes) with groups from either the host school, or visiting groups from schools nearby, with 2 sessions in the morning amd one after lunch. Each session costs $100 for a maximum of 25 students.
If you would like to find out more about attending or hosting a visit, contact the FEF on 6235 8240 or (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
