Teacher Orientation Sesssions 2011

During this International Year of Forests, the Forest Education Foundation is running a free afternoon session for teachers to explore the National Forest Learning Centre in Hobart.

The National Forest Learning Centre explores themes based on understanding forest systems and forestry processes, using student centred activities for groups of all ages. In order to explore the opportunities available for teachers in the coming year, the Forest Education Foundation is running a series of introductory sessions at the start of this term.

Each session is run after school hours, on an informal basis for roughly 45 minutes. Teachers will have the opportunity to experience the activities available at the Centre, talk to the FEF teachers and explore the other FEF resources.

Session date - session starts at 4 pm

Tuesday 8 March

Drinks and nibbles will be available!

If you would like to attend, please contact the FEF or either (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)  or 6235 8240.

If you cannot make the sessions but would still like to find out more about the Centre, ring us to arrange a more suitable time or visit our website at http://www.forest-education.com
