Through our programs, students have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the concept of Sustainability, the role that science plays in the ongoing sustainable management of our forests and the use of forest resources into the future.  This addresses the cross-curriculum priority of Sustainability that is intergral to the Science curriculum at all year groups.

The image on the right shows a student setting up a Triangular Window Intercept Trap (TWIT) to collect flying invertebrates, as part of an ongoing data collection exercise undertaken by Y11/12 Environmental Science groups. Students have the opportunity to explore a range of biotic and abiotic variables across different forest types for their individual investigations.
