Forces in Motion
Devonport High School were one of the first schools to incorporate Forest in a Box- Design and Make into the Secondary Teaching curriculum, and what a success it was!
As part of the year 7 science unit on forces and motion, students were given the task of constructing towers, marble runs and Rude Goldberg machines to demonstrate their understanding of simple machines and the scientific principles behind them.
